We use IMP and it is working fine, users' preference is stored in LDAP and they also have addressbook in LDAP

Imap folders are available from webmail, users have personal address book

personal info, signature and reply text are customizable...
if you need more info you can contact me personnaly, I guess this
squirrelmail stuff in this qmail-ldap mailing list may annoy some people :)

How much can users customize? Like can they create folders, address
books, change prefs? etc?

I use squirrelmail on qmailldap/courier-imap, works fine, setup is easy

and

there are pre-configured options for courier-imap.
Since you access maildirs via imap you dont have to deal with any path

to

maildirs in squirrelmail

I've seen some talk of Squirrel Mail. Can anyone recommend a good
webmail client that will work with QMAIL-LDAP? The biggest problem I
see is user preferences/directories. Since with qmail-ldap they

don't

have directories but just vmail stuff. What have people done to get
around this and what do you all suggest using?
