Hi I took me a long time to realise that I have to link the whole directory from /var/qmail/boot :( okay.. the daemons are running now...
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP. Nevertheless I have two more problems now :( 1. mail:~ # telnet localhost 25 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. 554 unable to read controls (#5.3.5) Connection closed by foreign host. mail:~ # what is wrong with my controls? I made cdb? All files in control are root:qmail 2. I can make ./qmail-ldaplookup, but when starting a delivery it says : @4000000040ea75aa15b87684 status: local 1/10 remote 0/20 @4000000040ea75aa1659daec delivery 3: deferral: Unable_to_contact_LDAP_server._(#4.4.3) @4000000040ea75aa1659fe14 status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 TIA Best Regards Edvin Seferovic -----Original Message----- From: Tomas Kuliavas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Dienstag, 06. You just need to link to wrong directory or system fails to start service or you stop service with svc. svstat /service/qmail
