Ahh Yes , You also have to setup qmqp and also have tcpserver control
the relay parameter for all the host in the clusters for qmqp

Hi
I think the controls/ldapclusterhosts has to be defined in the
controls directory as to for which mailhost the clusterserver is
responsible for , The simplest way is to have the same entry as in the
controls/me file

Thanks & Regards

Attitude Is Everything !

hello,
I'm trying to understand the configuration and operation of pop3 in a
cluster.

I have echoed 1> in ldapcluster, have mailHost defined as a different
machine for this user but when I log into pop3 it still goes to the
local
machine instead of the machine I want.

I see a line in the lwql page about:
"(important: they must listen on the ip address defined by me!)"

Which machine? the target (pop3) machine does have it's fqdn in 'me'.

Does the target if it's only doing pop need to be running qmail-ldap?

Is there any "PIC" to explain the exact steps in a clustered/forwarding
set up for pop and imap anywhere?

Thank you,
brian
