It will just take a tiny bit more time :)

The smtp protocol never renders anything to /dev/null :) It's a very persistent runt :)

Hi,

Does any one know how I can limit the number of process for qmail-scanner?, I use uvscan (launched from qmail-scanner.pl) and it kills my processor, I'd like to limit the number of instances without droping mail.

Any ideas?

The only way to limit the number of launched processes is to limit the number of concurrent smtp session.

But if you limit or low the number of smtp sessions maybe you can't serve all your clients , am I right?
