What do you mean by "ip aliasing"?
By default, qmail-ldap looks at the uid attribute in LDAP when you log
in using IMAP or POP. So, just change the uid attribute to whatever you
like (e.g. user instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED]), and you can login using
"user" as username.
