Are you sure ?
I inspeted the qmail-scanner log and emails seems to be scanned by SA.
This is for all versions of QS ?

When user authorized, qmail-smtpd sets RELAYCLIENT, when RELAYCLIENT was set,
qmail-scanner doesn't run SA.

You don't need two qmail-scanner
1) You may setup smtp auth - SA will not run for authorizated users. (it's
must be your preffered choice)
2) You may set RELAYCLIENT in your superserver for internal mail. But this
will allow send any mail to anywere.
