I can't really help with the "proper" Qmail-Scanner installation on vpopmail, I've never had to deviate from what your site says. I CAN though, point you to my source. My vpopmail is based on Matt Simerson's FreeBSD mail toaster. While he does throw a LOT of stuff into the mix, I've installed qmail-scanner on top of toaster 1.7 with qmail-scanner .99 and toaster 2.2b with qmail-scanner 1.10, and not had an issue. Well, except for not having enough memory for tcpserver and a virus scanner (Did I get that right?
