Hi It might be just the softlimit, when I played around with this I had a similar occurrence caused by messages in the queue with the wrong permissions. To fix that either install queue-fix from:
http://www.netmeridian.com/e-huss/ which works a treat or alternatively do a make setup check from your original qmail source directory. Don't worry it doesn't reinstall everything. Then try to run the test script again.
