This happens so often, why not change the error message to:

tempfail: X-Qmail-Scanner-1.15: corrupt or unknown Trend
scanner/resource problems - exit status 16777215 (*Check your softlimit)

Using qmail-scanner and softlimit in a Google search comes with with the
qmail-scanner homepage, the qmail-scanner FAQ, and a FreeBSD example of
how it's used. Sure, it MIGHT not be the softlimit, but I'd be that's
the first and last step for at least 90% of the people who get that
error.
