First off. There is a bug with Qmail-1.03 that means it doesn't work under
RH9 - see the www.qmail.org site for details as to how to fix it.

Secondly, I bet you don't have the perl-setuidperl RPM installed. Install
that first and try again.

That 2nd one is a bugger: as the install has to happen as root, all the
tests ./configure can do work - as it's root. To test if a non-root account
can run setuid scripts, I have to *somehow* find an account on the system
that has a valid shell, then "su ....." it. That's not a matter or just
looking in /etc/passwd, as some systems use different auth systems, etc. It
just gets worse and worse :-(

In the next release, I check to see if you have DJB's setuidgid installed -
and use that to check the setuid stuff as it doesn't care what shell the
user has...
