OK I tried that and that didn't make any difference.

I have just downgraded to qmail-scanner-1.15 as well and still no
difference.

I have read about a few problems with it and utf? I don't know wether
changing something else is a good idea? Anyone else comment?

Here is a real time account of some of what happens:

it always seems to be near spamc - here is my local.cf

I run spamd as
cat /service/spamd/run
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/local/bin/softlimit -m 30000000 /usr/bin/spamd -m 10 -L

I have reinstalled Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55 from source and it seems to be
installed OK and working as I'd expect.... I have upped my qmail-smtpd
limit to 200 meg (I have 2 gig) just to see if that helped - still no.

Sorry to seems a pain - but this does seem the place for this?
Any help appriciated.

Regards
Pete
