I was curious by what criterion qmail-scanner's configure script determines that qmail has been compiled with guenter's qmailqueue patch?
based on the results of running 'strings' on the compiled 'qmail-smtpd' binary:
$ /usr/bin/strings /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd |grep QMAILQUEUE
