I get a comand not found when I try and run
qmailctl cdb qmailctl restart
then qmailctl is not in your $PATH and/or, depending how you set things up, may not exist at all since it's only really a suggested link to your qmail stop/start (init) script.
technically speaking, you should do this (assuming tcp rules file in /etc): tcprules /etc/tcp.smtp.cdb /etc/tcp.smtp.tmp < /etc/tcp.smtp
which will rebuild the cdb file Then restart qmail however you normally would
