If 1.01 does the job for you, then I think the answer is no.

1.03 has some nifty features, like qmail-tcpok to clear the TCP
timeout table, and the qmqpc/qmqpd pair.  Plus virtual users.  Handy
if you need them, but otherwise hardly any reason to bother.

(I know you didn't ask, but 1.02 had a bug in it and should be
avoided.)

It may be a long wait.  Dan is smart enough to not even hint at a time
table for 2.0.  It may be here in mere months, or perhaps years.
