Nope. Dan is too smart for that. Too many software developers have
been burned by suggesting a delivery date, then finding their release
slip by weeks, months, even years. Qmail 2 will come when it comes.
Don't hold your breath or even make plans to use it: Dan has other
stuff on his mind, like teaching and suing the US government.
There is one bit of information, though: qmail 2 is supposed to use
something called zeroseek to handle the queue. Dan has created a
mailing list for discussions of zeroseek, but so far he has released
nothing that we could discuss. It may well be a long wait.
