Just to change the subject and to tie it into a previous thread, I'd like to
point out that the lack of this characteristic is one of the reasons why both
Fred L. and I were defending RFC2369 for list headers.
Simplicity is good. Isn't there a quote along the line of "as simple as
possible, but no simpler"? It wasn't about standards, but it should be.
