DSNs are not that complicated. I'm coding a custom mail relay for internal use. Adding DSN support was not exactly trivial, but it wasn't a herculean effort either. It will take you several weeks to figure out what the RFCs are talking about, true, but that's pretty much the case with any RFC. Once the gory details sink into your skull, it's trivially easy to generate one, or parse one. -- Sam
