Yes, it's a very handy feature. I've used a similar functionality in the
fastforward package. It's great for making sure you get the bounces from
list explosion... you are the list manager, so you are the one who should
know if bouncing is happening.
And I agree with Stefan.. because this rewriting only happens when you
specifically request it, no religious war is needed. :-)

I'm not sure if the list software does it's own replacement of the sender
address, or relies on qmail-local. Lists to tend to setup a
".qmail-whatever-owner" file.

I'm hoping that some people can read through the details of my test setup
and comment on if the behavior I've observed is really a bug or not. If it
is a bug, I can produce a patch for qmail-local very easily.
