OK, groovy, a signpost for me to steer by!  :-)  i shall read more stuff,
and see where my ignorance is hiding today.

since i don't understand tcp.rules (or any of the cdb based stuff) yet, i
strongly suspect that i've made some errors there.  also, i still don't
understand the big picture very well (and yes, i have the "big picture"
v1.03 by opperman sitting in front of my) so i just have to stare at it all
some more.

thanks for the help!  by the way Mr. Sill, do you know what's up with the
O'Reilly qmail book?
