When I execute the ls command I get the following:
drwxr-xr-x 16 root root 1024 Mar 10 10:48 /
drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 1024 Feb 2 15:40 /var
drwxr-xr-x 11 root qmail 1024 Mar 22 14:44 /var/qmail
drwxr-xr-x 2 root qmail 1024 Feb 2 16:50 /var/qmail/bin
-rws--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 22136 Feb 2 16:50
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
I cheked it on an other server and they have the same rights, the users
(qmailq, qmaild,etc) are also the same.
alias:!!:500:500::/var/qmail/alias:/bin/bash
qmaild:!!:501:500::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
qmaill:!!:502:500::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
qmailp:!!:503:500::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
qmailq:!!:504:501::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
qmailr:!!:505:501::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
qmails:!!:506:501::/var/qmail:/bin/bash
/etc/group
nofiles:!:500:
qmail:!:501:
I cant execute qmail-queue as a user (it says bash:
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue: Operation not permitted ), so what's wrong ?
The users are just a member of a users group
