  Fast answer:  man maildir

better answer:   Each user will need in their home directory:

~/Maildir/
~/Maildir/new
~/Maildir/cur
~/Maildir/tmp

  all with permissions 600.  They should also have a .qmail file containing
"./Maildir/".
