That doesn't look at all like qmail-smtpd. "Comand" is misspelled, for
one thing. You should see something like:

$ telnet 0 25
Trying 0.0.0.0...
Connected to 0.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 sws5.ctd.ornl.gov ORNL/WS ESMTP
HELO DUDE
250 sws5.ctd.ornl.gov ORNL/WS
MAIL [EMAIL PROTECTED]

221 sws5.ctd.ornl.gov ORNL/WS
Connection closed by foreign host.
