It sounds like the author of this book is a M$-type weenie. I don't think so. He's the author of perhaps the most popular book on computer security that's available to the public. He's generally well regarded - though having sendmail 8.8.8 on the secondary MX of his domain doesn't make you feel super confident :> Regards.
