qmail-inject assumes that a FQDN contains at least one dot. If it doesn't
contain one, it assumes that it is a hostname with no domain, and appends the
contents of /var/qmail/control/defaultdomain (or me, or "defaultdomain", in
that order). This is in the manpage for qmail-inject.
