Hi, I'm still working away at getting my installation working, and while I
can telnet to my user on mypop3d and I can telnet to my smtp server, I'm
having relay deny problems. Here is the error message from Outlook that I
get when I try to send mail:

<smtp test.mcclear.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] 60001>: RCPT
To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of
allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
<smtp test.mcclear.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] 60001>: RCPT
To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of
allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

I then added hostnames to the rcpthosts file:

hermes.mcclear.com
athena.mcclear.com
test.mcclear.com
pop.mcclear.com

And also to the locals file:

hermes.mcclear.com
athena.mcclear.com
mcclear.com
test.mcclear.com
pop.mcclear.com

I wasn't sure if I needed to, but I reloaded tcp.smtp.cdb,

And then restarted qmail by doing 'qmailctl restart'

As always, your help is greatly appreciated,

Rob Yale
