did you set the RELAYCLIENT variable for localhost and/or your lan
machines ?

try a svc -du /service/qmail-* instead, this also restarts qmail-send.
iam not really that this what you are doing is right. You don't have to
add every host you want to send mail to to your rcpthosts ( as too many
people think )
