thank you everyone for replying that quickly!
I did not forget to restart qmail, but I was wrong about the
nameserver: it does not refer to this mailserver as an MX at all. I
will discuss the issue with my coworker to find out why exactly my
mailserver gets mail for this domain and ask about the problem in a
more competent way (including log excerpts) later.
