Hello Everyone,
I am able to send about 1080 emails per minute, or
maximum 1.5 million emails per day using qmail 1.03
patched with DNS Pacth and Large concurrency patch
from a P-III Dual CPU 1Gig System.
When I send the mails the system load goes very high
upto 10% - 15% ( load reading according to 'top' command ).
I find that most of the CPU time is used by splogger and
syslogd ( around 85% ) and hence the system slows down
So, the number of mails being sent per second is getting
lesser and lesser.
To avoid this, is there anyway to avoid splogger to start
and hence stop logging activity by syslogd ??
