Would it be workable to write a script to regularly grab log files thru scp.
eg.
Monitoring host has a cron job that grabs logs from qmail servers at regular
intervals.
some other questions just came to mind......
1) If all grabbed qmail logs were placed in the same folder, would there be an
issue with mrtg?
2) i could alternatively place each log in their seperate folder...
3) am i able to log thru both multilog and some other logger for logging to a
remote server
I think it would be useful if i had all my logs in one location ( as well as on
each node ).
4) If not, maybe a patch to multilog to perform remote logging too??? :)
5) Any other solutions? to make qmail's logs more manageable ( for me at
least ).
Thk you Dave, for your help

Paul Tan
