As some of you have noticed, broken MS SMTP servers send mails with
bare linefeeds, get a 4xx, and brokenly *immediately* reconnect, try
again, get a 4xx, immediately reconnect etc., using lots of your
resources.

At http://www.dataloss.nl/software/qmail/ you can find a patch that
introduces control/barelfdelay, which does exactly what the name
suggests (doing a configurable sleep() before returning the 4xx).

It also updates qmail-showctl and the qmail-control and qmail-smtpd
manpages.
