qmail-pop3d finds no maildir

Hi,

why can not the POP3-Daemon Maildirs in the homedirs. I've installed the patch
for qmail-pop3, but it fails when I try to make a telnet localhost pop3 with
the message
can't find maildir in $HOME/Maildir

It answer that also when a Maildir exists in the homedirectory of the user.
The rights are set so that others can write in the three subdirs of the
maildirectory.
