Hello,

I am using Sugarbox to set up new domains on my server. I noticed that my

qmail admin recently wouldn't let anyone log in to qmailadmin. So after a

bit of detective work and a lot of Google searches I am stumped at this
point.

If I manually add a virtual domain /.vadddomain testdomain.com

Then add a user with ./vadduser [EMAIL PROTECTED]

it will create the directory and file
~vpopmail/domains/testdomain.com/vpasswd.cdb

I assume Qmailadmin gets the password from this file.

However when I create a user with Sugarbox it will add a system user account
to

/home/(first letter of the new user)/UsernameOnSystem

Then the domain email info is in
~UsernameOnSystem/domains/testdomain.com/vpasswd.cdb

Not the ~vpopmail location because it is a real system account.

---------------

This is where I am stumped because both ways the functionality of the email
accounts work logging in and using all the features. However, only the
virtual accounts that are set up with ./vadddomain with their account info
stored in the ~vpopmail/domains/ dir will be allowed to log into qmailadmin.

All the system users also can log into their email accounts and use all
their email functionality, but they can not log into QmailAdmin.

So the question is there a way to have QmailAdmin Look in both locations for
useraccount/pw authentication? I tried accomplishing this with symlinks and
upgrading to the latest QmailAdmin version but didn't work.

Thanks for the Read time on this and Possible Answers.

Steve
