OK, so what about a change to parse_email to do a cdb lookup when no
ATCHARS are found, then continue working on the result of that mapping?
Then you could have a separate cdb that maps
unique_popid => popname%domain and almost no code would need changing.
No idea how much of qmailadmin, sqwebmail, etc. would be affected
though.
