Hi,
I have a few ideas for qmailadmin but am totaly clueless in
writing c. I have rewriten the whole qmailadmin program in perl to add
the things I and a few others in my line of work was looking for. I know
perl is a sucky thing to write it in but its all I know. Been trouble
shooting customers cgi scripts too long.
1) The adding of autoresponders. Why is it you cant have a autoresponder
for a popaccount that exsists? I mean you have the feature to forward
mail and receve mail at the same popaccount. It gets pretty bad for me
seeing I have over 1000 domains on my server and most want
autoresponders and receve the mail in the same box. The way I added mine
was just to put and extra field on the popaccounts menu.
2) For anyone out there like me that customers would like there catch
all accounts to be a different domain address. This realy got to me
after awile. I had customers that owned 20+ domains but wanted all there
mail to be forwarded to 1 domain.
3) Well I had a problem with the autoresponder sending back the entire
message but thanks to Mark Lane this is nolonger a problem. Thanks alot ;)
4) Why is this program written in c anyway? I wish I knew how to write c
but I think this is anoying that you would have to recompile every time
you need to change something.
