Ok, this might be a bit OT, but since i created the
list with qmailadmin i figure i'd post it here.
Normally I use ezmlm as a stand alone product and
create new lists from console, but in this case the list was created via
qmailadmin
now my question is, I have the clients old list (
collected from a plain text file ) which is about 20K in address, normally i
would as user who controls list do:
xargs < textfile ezmlm-sub ~/newsletter
and they would all get imported no
problemo
since all the domains are created vpopmail from
qmailadmin, would i do this as vpopmail or can i just do it as root or whatever
and just specify the full path to the newsletter dir. ie:
xargs < /path/to/textfile ezmlm-sub
/path/to/newsletter
I'm sure this is overly basic and I'm overly
thinking about it....
Cheers,
Gary
