at least he admits his laziness up front, that's more than most people do.
my other response on the list had a shell script fragment which logged the TCPREMOTEIP value, or the REMOTE_ADDR value, so it would also capture the IP if "vpopmaild" (or any other service running under tcpserver) happens to be the program which triggered the script.
