Ron Are you running spamassassin-toaster-3.0.4-1.2.5? I'd written the script >to control that particular package. You should have a dir in >/var/qmail/supervise called spamd. If not, then you >may have a >different installation and will have to control SpamAssassin another >way. Do a 'ps >->ax | grep -i spamd' and post the output, please. > >Here's the output of (I tried several permutations of the command as my >centos4 server didn't like the original). > >Thanks, >Ron > >[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ rpm -q spamassassin-toaster >spamassassin-toaster-3.0.4-1.2.5 >[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ ps ax | grep spamd >10520 pts/1 R+ 0:00 grep spamd >[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ ps ax | grep i spamd >grep: spamd: No such file or directory >[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ ps ax | grep -i spamd >10524 pts/1 R+ 0:00 grep -i spamd > > > Hmm. the ps -ax should have worked - I'm running Cent4 myself.... Anyway, it looks like you're not running spam checking. Do a 'rpm -qa | grep toaster' to see what packages are installed - I believe you need simscan-toaster installed for spam check also. Might just be missing a package. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- No virus found in this incoming message.
