Hi Jake:
What does this mean? I see that local.cf in /etc/mail/spamassassin
contains lines like:
bayes_path /root/.spamassassin/bayes
auto_whitelist_path /root/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist
Should we do a global search and replace on this file to replace all
occurences of /root/.spamassassin with /etc/mail/spamassassin? Are
there any other files that should be updated?
I was upgrading from and older version of spamassassin-toaster
(3.0.4-1.2.5) to the new one (3.1.0-1.2.9). During the upgrade process
you have to remove the old version of spamassassin-toaster before
installing the new one, and the new version wants to use
/root/.spamassassin as it's new Bayesian DB directory. I didn't want to
have to start over with teaching it what spam was, so I put the values
for the old DB back in. I still am not sure what the impact of this
will be (if the DB's are incompatible, or whatever), so I'm trying it
out and keeping everyone posted on the status of this.
