[qmailtoaster] routing outbound mail through my ISP

Before I ask for your help, I’d like to thank all the people that put together the qmailtoaster.  It is working beautifully. My ISP (SBC) assigns dynamic IP addresses and I find that many e-mail providers automatically reject my e-mails; even if the individual recipient completely disables all SPAM filters. The solution is to forward all the e-mail collected from the home LAN by my qmailtoaster to my ISP SMTP server: smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com.  The server however requires SMTP authentication, and this is where I get stuck.   If I understand correctly, qmailtoaster includes the smtp-auth patch so I do not need to recompile anything.  To get it to work I simply edit /var/qmail/control/smtproutes as follows: :smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com username password I tried the username and password both in plain text and base64 encoding. However, I always get the following failure notice; Sorry, I couldn't find any host named [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#5.1.2)   Please help me solve this problem.   Thank you, Dmitry R   -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
