Hi there !
2 weeks ago I've installed a new mail server based on Qmail 'cos I'm
about , as I already wrote on another post , to turn off exchange . Now
I have 10 GB of e-mails (~30 Users) which must be moved from one system
to the new one . Most of my users are using Outlook and they'd like to
keep on using it so my idea is to save everything owned by every user in
many .pst files . In this way I would not erase the "history" !
Is there a better way to do this ? In conclusion , my idea is to :
1) Save every mailbox in a .pst file ( e-mail ,contacts and so on... )
2) Creating a new account on every client using IMAP protocol (obviously
the account is already created on Qmail Server)
This way should grant every user a complete access to the "old" e-mails
which were on Exchange and the new ones handled by Qmail
IS all correct ?
Thanks in advance and Excuse me for my "not so good" english
Max (Italy)
