I'm sure it must be spammers that spam without directions :D
However, is there any way to strengthen this issue?
Not really. I've written a bunch of custom rules to help block spam, but
it's hard to write ones for emails that don't have any content. I've
seen that a lot of them get mailed from a mailer program called "The
Bat!", so I wrote this specific rule to combat them (mainly from the
"Doctor"):
header JV_Pharm3p_Drug X-Mailer =~ /The Bat/i
describe JV_Pharm3p_Drug Pill ad mailer program signature
score JV_Pharm3p_Drug 6.0
The score is based for my system. I tag messages as spam after 6.5
points, and this in combination with my other rules cause the "Doctor"
and his pill ads to consistently (this week, at least) score over 45
points total. My rules are available from my site (jakev.com/qmail)
