ok i will try this today night.i will add all the domains in
/var/qmail/control/rcpthosts.any other pointers apart from this.

In the backup server's /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts file you'll need to add
the domains you want it to accept mail for. It will now act as a caching
backup mail server.
I personally also backup my main mail server nightly, and send it to my
backup mail server, just in case. That way you have a off-site backup of
your domains/users and mail (up until the backup time) somewhere else in
the event of a hardware failure. IMO.
