Hey Eric,

Was the qmail-queue-custom-error.patch patch located in the contrib
directory applied to the source? The README says it's necessary for that
option to work. I suppose I could test it.

Yes this is included.

# rpm -qi qmail-toaster
...
Bill Shupp - custom-smtp-reject
http://www.shupp.org/patches/custom.patch
...

I'm still baffled as to why I'm getting the standard rejected message on
occasion. Is it definitely coming from simscan, or could it be coming
from tcp.smtp rules?

Without knowing what was rejected, it's hard to tell. There wasn't
enough information in the first message.

Is there any chance of getting a simcontrol file added to a future
release? Is that something I can do for the project, or is it not
included for some good reason?

I would be personally against it myself. It's a trivial change to
enable the feature for those who want it. Meanwhile most of our users
would prefer to scan on all of their domains.

To enable it, do the following:

1) # rpm -Uhv simscan-toaster*src.rpm
2) Edit /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/simscan-toaster.spec. Around line 417
add "--enable-per-domain" like the others
3) rpmbuild -bs /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/simscan-toaster.spec

This will output the simscan-toaster src.rpm for you with the
simcontrol enabled.

Thanks,
Erik
