Hey guys-
With my qmailtoaster server, everything was working fine until
yesterday morning. I have the following situation:
1. I am unable to pop mail ONLY on one domain from one block of IPs.
2. BUT, I am able to pop from that domain from any other IP.
2. all other domains work, from multiple locations/IPs.
3. I am able to pop any other account from the IP block
4. SMTP works fine.
To summerize, I am only having a problem POP'ing from a block of IPs
(ex. 66.218.xxx.xxx)
for only one domain. All other domains are accessable from anywhere.
Steps I have taken:
Firewall has been cleared, tested the affected domain from another IP,
and was successful.
I looked at my tcp rules, nothing is changed, and there is a entry in
there to accept all mail from the affected IP block.
Now, no major updates have been done to the server, ex. freshclam,
yum, etc.
I am running a spam/ham script that feeds sa-learn.
I have come to the point where I feel spamassassin has somehow blocked
my domain from accessing my IP. If that is the case, where should I
look to?
Spamassassin only processes the message after it's been sent to the
server. If the clients are sending a message (via SMTP), and your
spamassassin script filters it, then the messages may not appear (don't
know what your script does) when someone pops in to get the message. Do
the clients get any message when they try and send a message from a
different IP? Are they in the queue still? Look at the tails of your
logs and see what's happening with the message flow.
