I'm using SuSE 10.1 here.
I'm working on several cleanups of the spec files to make them better
compile-able for SuSE versions beginning with 9.2 and SLES 9+10. 11 packages I
have done so far, but because of my limited time, I'm slow.
I have combined all SuSE specific things to a few lines, which works nicely;
additionally I have identified several issues for the other distribs. Hope to
be able to send you the diffs soon...

I am asking because I thought perhaps if enough of a majority are
using centos/redhat/fedora then perhaps it would be worth talking
about cleaning up the dependencies in the RPMs and setting up a
repository so that all that needs to be done to get the current
version is everything is "yum upgrade".
