I think that my qmailctl restart did not really work as well as a stop/start with a wait inbetween.

Not sure if anyone keeps up on that list, but the pyzor server is WAY overloaded (if you're using the default) and he's migrating to a new one this week, or early next week.
I'm keeping an eye on the list, and I'll post something back on this one once they get everything back on track. Biggest hold up is that there is currently no way to propagate databases; that will probably rectified by the end of the week.
