The only problem with Microsoft DNS Server is the first word.

And Windows :-P

Now seriously, i don't like BIND for its security problems, for its
continues and innecessary updates, and it's awfull configuration files
(yep awfull).

But I really HATE it just because its failures are affecting me.

My TLD .es is using BIND (this year issues maked an ENTIRE COUNTRY OUT OF
DNS SPACE FOR 3 HOURS (how many transactions and MONEY was lost?, all the
banking in this country use that domain), (BTW.yeah, the problem was a
BIND update)).

My ISP is using BIND, too (it's failing and failing and failing at this
moment).

Appart from being insecure, by default, it publishes it's own version on
CHAOS TXT version.bind. (great work guys! :-(((( ), it sucks a lot of
memory, lacked basic DNS features (some version doesn't pass thru RR that
doesn't know about, like SRV registers) What else i can tell?

I like djbdns because it's secure, it doesn't need updates (and it's full
featured to the date!), because it have just one, plain, human
understable, script friendly (BIND needs GENERATOR because its
configuration files are not easily scriptable), configuration file, it
works like a charm and i certainly forget about it. It just works.

Just for that.
