Better solution is to use some kind of VPN to tunnel traffic securely from one LAN to another. I've got three installations of such kind. One is using pppd-over-ssh VPN, second is using VTund-based VPN over a /dev/tapX interface (going to replace VTund with OpenSSH as more industry widespread solution), third is using RHEL4 native IPSec support. Over a VPN you can use any services you want, including NFS, of rsyncing using it's own native protocol, specifying password in a separate 'password' file. -- Ñ óâàæåíèåì, Alexey mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted <http://www.vr.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
