I dont know and no any info in doc. IMO it is md5 but CRAM or DIGEST ???
When I configure my kmail I check what encoding is used on SMTP server ...
PLAIN and APOP only?
I think it's problem in any rpm but what? qmail, vpopmail,
courier-authlib ... ?
