I have a strange request of a customer. They have their own exchange server that is basically used as a glorified shared calendar right now. I host their mail for all 150 email accounts. What they want to do is be able to use their exchange server for say maybe 20 of those accounts but still have my system scan for spam and handle pop smtp imap etc for the other 130 accounts. So I guess my question is is there a way to set certain accounts to relay mail to the exchange server other than having the exchange server pop the mail every 15 minutes? Would there be a script that would allow me to have the server forward the mail for those 20 accounts to the exchange server via smtp? I am not sure if I am asking this right or not but figured someone out there would be able to help out. Thanks Q
